TOMMY HILFIGER ANNOUNCES THE OPENING OF ITS FIRST FREESTANDING RETAIL STORE IN PARIS, FRANCE

Amsterdam, The Netherlands (October, 2006) - Tommy Hilfiger Europe B.V., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tommy Hilfiger Corporation, announced today the opening of its first freestanding retail store in Paris, France for Fall 2006. Following the 2005 openings of Tommy Hilfiger freestanding anchor stores in Milan, Vienna and Zurich, the Paris store opening marks the Company’s entrance into another European capital city.

"We are incredibly excited about our first Paris store on the Rue Saint-Honoré.  Paris is one of world’s most important fashion capitals and I love visiting this beautiful city. We are thrilled to be able to provide our Parisian customers with a shopping environment to access the complete Tommy lifestyle," states Tommy Hilfiger.

The 500-square-meter store is located at the prestigious Rue Saint-Honoré in a restored listed building. The freestanding store will showcase Hilfiger’s brand by combining classic sportswear with contemporary details for a modern lifestyle. The store will feature men’s and women’s sportswear, tailored and Hilfiger denim for men and girls. In addition, fragrance, body products, watches, socks, handbags as well as men’s and women’s, underwear, accessories, and footwear will be sold.

The Paris store design will be unique to the Tommy Hilfiger global retail portfolio, representing a marriage of local architectural elements with modern American influences. The collection will be showcased on two floors, with a more formal and sophisticated look on the ground floor and a casual look for the basement with a dedicated Hilfiger Denim area. The materials used are an eclectic mix of modern and vintage materials such as a new high gloss strip-wood floor on the ground floor and an original American Antique Oak floor in the Basement.
A contemporary sweeping staircase reflects the Parisian style and innovative materials, such as slate stone, brushed stainless steel and leather finishes, have been brought in to complement the surroundings. The product presentation, inspired by French merchandising traditions, incorporates French designed furniture blended with European antiques and the latest Tommy Hilfiger presentation fixtures.

Current freestanding stores in Europe include London, Milan, Amsterdam, Berlin, Brussels, Barcelona, Stockholm, Vienna, Zurich, St. Tropez, Istanbul, Turin, Antwerp, Munich, Athens, and Madrid, among others.
