HISPANIC FEDERATION TO AWARD TOMMY HILFIGER THE INDIVIDUAL ACHIEVEMENT AWARD - MAY 2, 2007

New York, NY, April 18, 2007 - The Hispanic Federation (HF) announced today the recipients of their 2007 "New Heights" Annual Gala Awards.  The ceremony will take place on Wednesday, May 2nd at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York City.  David L. Cohen, Executive Vice President of Comcast Corporation, will receive the Corporate Leadership Award on behalf of Comcast.  The Individual Achievement Award will be given to fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger.  Latin recording artist Ednita Nazario will receive the "Premio Orgullo" (Pride Award).  Real estate developer Aby Rosen will accept the Legacy Award.  Pregones Theater will be the recipient of the Community Service Award.

"The work of the Federation will not be possible without the unwavering support of extraordinary individuals who tirelessly work to improve the lives of our community.  Our 2007 honorees represent that commitment," said Lillian Rodríguez-López, President of the Hispanic Federation.  "They lead by example and it is with great honor that we recognize their accomplishments and legacy."

David L. Cohen is the Executive Vice President of Comcast Corporation and Co-Chairman of The Comcast Foundation, where he has a broad portfolio of responsibilities, including corporate communications, government affairs, public affairs, corporate administration, and serving as senior counselor to the CEO. Since 1999, The Comcast Foundation has donated more than $30 million to non-profit organizations that work to improve literacy, volunteerism and youth leadership programs in the communities Comcast serves.

Aby Rosen, co-founder of RFR Holding is a visionary real estate developer.  Along with being the steward of the restoration of two iconic New York City landmarks: the Lever House and the Seagram Building, Aby's company, RFR Holding has recently developed 610 Lexington Avenue, 40 Bond Street and 50 Gramercy Park.  Aby's commitment to charitable causes is unwavering and he is currently involved with such organizations as The Foundation for Ethnic Understanding, UJA Federation, Whitney Museum, Municipal Arts Society, Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation, The Architectural League of New York, New Museum of Contemporary Art, Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City, The Mies van der Rohe Society and the Jeffrey Modell Foundation.

Ednita Nazario is an internationally acclaimed singer/performer of super star proportions.  A professional musician since the age of seven, Ednita is undoubtedly Puerto Rico's finest female pop export.  She has earned innumerable awards as well as multiple gold and platinum records throughout her career.  In 1998, Ednita made her Broadway debut in Paul Simon's controversial musical "The Capeman," a performance that earned her a Drama Desk nomination and won her a Theatre World Award.  Her humanitarian work has also led to collaborations with non-profit organizations such as UNICEF, Fight Against Cancer and Artists Against AIDS.

Tommy Hilfiger began his career with $150, eventually building one of the most recognizable retail brands in America and the world.  The fashion industry has bestowed Hilfiger with numerous honors including  Parsons School of Design's Designer of the Year award, GQ magazine's "Men of the Year" and Menswear Designer of the Year by the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA).  Hilfiger launched the Tommy Hilfiger Corporate Foundation in 1995 to enrich the physical and intellectual well-being of youth with a major emphasis on education and cultural programs that impact a diverse population.

Founded by Puerto Rican artists in 1979, Pregones Theater is known for mining the themes of Latino migrant experience and creating plays of dynamic visual and rhythmic character. In 2005, we inaugurated a permanent 130-seat theater just south of Yankee Stadium. Pregones artistic work has been awarded numerous recognitions including the NYS Governor's Arts Award, Ford Foundation New Works Visionaries Fellowship Award and the Doris Duke/Andrew W. Mellon Leading National Ensemble Theatre Designation, among many others.

The Corporate Leadership Award honors those individuals and companies who have shown extraordinary support to the Hispanic community.  The Individual Achievement Award honors those who show courage and conviction as they strive for excellence in their public as well as private endeavors.  The Premio Orgullo Award honors those who have shown an unwavering dedication to the Latino community.  The Legacy Award pays tribute to those whose accomplishments in the business and philanthropic worlds establish them as prominent leaders in these causes.  The Community Service Award honors HF member agencies whose board, staff and administration work tirelessly to improve the lives of Latinos in the Northeast.
