TOMMY HILFIGER CELEBRATED ITS FIRST PARIS ANCHOR STORE WITH A COCKTAIL RECEPTION AND AFTERPARTY

Tommy Hilfiger Corporation held an intimate cocktail party at its first French Anchor store located on the coveted Rue Saint-Honoré in Paris to celebrate its recent global expansion in Paris and Florence as well as the upcoming opening of its Regent Street Anchor store in London in November.

The 500 square-meter freestanding Paris store showcases Tommy Hilfiger’s men’s and women’s sportswear, tailored men’s clothing, and Hilfiger denim. A variety of men’s and women’s accessories are also available in the Paris store, including fragrances, handbags, footwear, watches and underwear. The store is located at 368-370 Rue Saint-Honoré in a restored historic building. 

The Paris store design is unique to the Tommy Hilfiger global retail portfolio, representing a marriage of local architectural elements with modern American influences. The collection is showcased across two floors that are connected through a sweeping contemporary staircase illuminated by a grand antique chandelier. The entrance floor embraces a more formal and sophisticated look while the lower level takes on a more casual and relaxed feel mixing contemporary styles with a dedicated Hilfiger Denim area.

Celebrities and other invited guests were invited to be transported from the in-store cocktail affair to an after party on the back of original Harley Davidson motorcycles or by limousine service.

Tommy joined his celebrity friends for one of the year’s most exciting after parties at one of Paris’ most prestigious venues, the historic L’Ecole des Beaux Artes.  The classic venue was transformed into a Parisian nightclub with pops of Americana culture sprinkled throughout, such as spinning electric guitars, Plexiglas towers filled with popcorn, Coca Cola and Pepsi cans formed an American Flag and Statues of Liberty. 

The climax of the evening was a private concert by American rock artist Lenny Kravitz, who performed “American Woman” and several other of his international hits. Young Hollywood actress Lindsay Lohan showed off her talent by spinning tunes from the turntables on an elevated platform.
