Amsterdam , The Netherlands (March, 2006) - Tommy Hilfiger Europe B.V., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tommy Hilfiger Corporation (NYSE: TOM) , announced today that it plans to open a new freestanding retail store in Sylt, Germany in April 2006. The opening marks the Company’s first retail space on the prestigious island.

The 280-square-meter store is located at Friedrichstrasse 14 in Westerland, Sylt. The store will stay true to Hilfiger’s brand of classic sportswear that combines contemporary details for a modern lifestyle. The store will showcase men’s and women’s sportswear and denim, as well as childrenswear. In addition, fragrance and body products, handbags, socks, accessories, and men’s and women’s underwear and footwear will be sold.
The store design reflects the youthful, energetic image of the Hilfiger collections by featuring white walls, wooden flooring, high ceilings and tall windows. This neo-classic architecture can be found throughout Tommy Hilfiger freestanding stores worldwide.
Current freestanding stores in Europe include London, Milan, Amsterdam, Berlin, Vienna, Zurich, Sevilla, Valencia, Manchester, Dublin, St. Tropez, Istanbul, Turin, Bologna, Antwerp, Brussels, Athens, Rotterdam, Munich, Kitzbühel and Düsseldorf, among others.
