Amsterdam (July 2006) - Team Hilfiger Sailing’s US double Olympic silver medalist skipper, Randy Smyth, and the crew of Hilfiger Sailing wore the stylish and sporty new VX10 watch as they sailed to victory in the first ever Volvo Ocean Race VX40 Extreme Sailing Series Finale. After competing in 70 races for over s even months in five countries, Team Tommy Hilfiger won the overall series trophy in Rotterdamin front of crowds in excess of 100,000 people.

Developed in conjunction with the Hilfiger Sailing team, the new VX10 watch offers optimal readability with its large luminescent hands, Arabic numerals, and prominent indices. The watch also features a striking chronograph dial, a counter-clockwise rotating bezel, and two sub dials to measure elapsed time. Crafted from stainless steel, the watch has the functionality and quality craftsmanship of a professional diver’s watch, including water resistance to 100m and a screw-in crown. The VX10 watch is available in three-hand and chronograph versions, with a variety of dial, bracelet, and bevel color selections from which to choose.
